Spring Cleaning

My wife and I are on day 2 of a 10 day juice fast. We have been fasting almost every year for the past fifteen. We follow the plan layed out in Juice Fasting by Dr. Paavo Airola. It is spring time and we are getting ready for a move from Florida to Wisconin – a great transitional time for a fast. It is a great opportunity to refocus our physical health priorities. We eliminate the build up of toxins, give our digestive system a rest, feed our bodies with great nutrition, and consider ways we want to improve our health in the future. Currently, we are reading Metabolic Typing Diet by William Wolcott in hopes of fine tuning our diet to our personal needs. For us, fasting also brings attention to our spirit and emotions.
